This notice explains how mydoula.page handles your information when you visit a doula's profile page. We keep it simple: we collect very little, we don't track you, and we don't sell your data.

What We Collect

Contact Form Submissions

If you use the contact form on a doula's page, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your message

Where this goes: Your message goes directly to the doula you're contacting. We temporarily store it to confirm delivery, then delete it after 90 days. We do not use your contact information for marketing or share it with anyone other than the doula you contacted.

Display Preference

If you toggle light/dark mode on this page, we set a small cookie (doula_dark_mode) so the page remembers your choice next time you visit. It stores only "light" or "dark"—nothing that identifies you—and expires after one year.

Analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics (Umami) to understand how people use our service. This collects aggregate, anonymized data only—no cookies, no personal identifiers, no tracking across websites. We can see things like "50 people visited this page today" but not "you specifically visited this page."

What We Don't Collect

• We don't use tracking cookies
• We don't use advertising pixels
• We don't build profiles about you
• We don't sell your information to anyone
• We don't share your information with advertisers

The Doula's Responsibilities

We're the hosting platform—we built the website, but your relationship is with the doula. When you contact a doula through their page, they receive your information and are responsible for how they handle it. If you have questions about how a specific doula uses your information, please contact them directly.

Your Rights

If you've submitted a contact form and want us to delete your information from our systems, email us at privacy@explore.mydoula.page. Keep in mind we can only delete what's on our end—once your message reaches the doula, they have their own copy.
